Ms Annette Buchanan invites you into her pristinely preserved working colonial home & gardens for a walk down living history lane. Boxwood Manor, a circa 1790 farmhouse has been a residence for 6 generations whose family truly enjoys sharing this relaxing atmosphere with the community.
The past comes alive with the animated historical story telling of whisky's history in America by local author Kathryn Smith ("Baptist & Bootleggers" - "Methodists & Moonshine" - "Gertie" - "The Gatekeeper")
McGee's Scot-Irish Pub has been featured in regional, national, & international news for almost 3 decades. Chef Dixie Benca will be preparing a regionally inspired 5 station tasting menu to pair with your "water of life".
At the end of your tasting journey, you may choose your favorite whiskey for a full drink that can be made neat, straight up, with water or soda, or a delightfully upgraded Whiskey Sour cocktail.
