McGee's Irish Pub and Restaurant is available for private parties and special events. Of course our Pub is ideal for a casual affair, but with a little re-decorating we can also transform our dining room into a more formal space with white table clothes, fresh flowers, candle-light, fine china, and elegant music of your choice.
We are experienced caterers / party planners, flexible, and easy to work with. We have sample menus for Heavy Hors D'Oeuvre Buffets, Sit down Course Meals for Full Dinner Parties, Formal Luncheons (Business or Personal), and full bar service.
We also have a stage, house sound system with microphones, audio visual projector and screen for business presentations to groups.
If your event is a social occasion, we also dance floor space.

Pricing
For Parties requiring partial reserved space in the main dining room, space rental will be determined on a case situation based on menu selections, time, and service requirements. Call (864) 261-6401 for appointment or to make arrangements for you group.
For parties or meetings requiring full pub private occupancy minimum prices are as follows:
Luncheons
Mon - Sat: $ 600 minimum food and/or bar order before 7% Sales Tax and 18% Gratuity
Dinner / Evening Events:
Monday - $ 1500 minimum food and/or bar order before 7% Sales Tax and 18% Gratuity
Tues or Wed - $ 2000 minimum food and/or bar order before 7% Sales Tax and 18% Gratuity
Thur - $ 2500 minimum food and/or bar order before 7% Sales Tax and 18% Gratuity
Fri - $ 5000 minimum food and/or bar order before 7% Sales Tax and 18% Gratuity
Sat - $ 3500 minimum food and/or bar order before 7% Sales Tax and 18% Gratuity
Sun - $ 1500 minimum food and/or bar order before 7% Sales Tax and 18% Gratuity
Private Party Guidelines
All prices include appropriate condiments, side items, & non-alcoholic beverages (coffee, tea, & sodas)
A minimum order of $150.00 with a 50% non-refundable deposit is necessary to secure our small side private room for evening functions.
All parties are subject to a minimum $20.00 setup / clean up fee plus sales tax & a 18% gratuity to scheduled servers (if applicable)
There are many acceptable ways to handle alcoholic beverages for special occasions. The following are the options offered by McGee’s Irish Pub.
Cash Bar – This simply means your guests pay for all their own alcohol separately. This is the most economical option for the party host & incurs the least amount of liability* for the host.
Beer & Wine Only – This is our most popular option as the host provides the beer (bottled or kegged) & wine & the guests pays for any liquor drinks. This option is hospitable on the part of the host, is budget friendly, & incurs minimal liability*.
Limited Tab: The host provides a tab at a preset amount of money & / or number of drinks per guest (beer, wine, or liquor) for each guest. Once the tab or number of drinks per person has been reached, the individual guests pay for any extra alcohol consumed. The advantage to this option is that each guest may have their preferred cocktail (beer, wine, or spirits), the host maintains budget control, & minimal liability* is incurred.
Open Bar: This means that the host pays for all alcohol consumed by the guests without limit. While this is a very generous gesture on the part of the host, this option does incur the most liability*. Modifications to this option may include an “open bar” during preset hours (example: open cocktail hour from 7:00PM to 8:00PM).
Sunday Private Parties: McGee’s Irish Pub does not have a “private club liquor license”; however private parties on Sunday may include alcohol as long as certain guidelines are strictly met. They are as follows:
The host must sign a one day lease agreement to secure the pub for the function.
The party must be an “invitation only” event with a guest list provided at the front door.
McGee’s Irish Pub cannot “sell” alcohol on Sunday: therefore, the host must pre-purchase all beer, wine, & spirits before the event. McGee’s will gladly broker these items for you or you may purchase these items yourself; however, McGee’s will charge a “corkage fee” for each item served.
Other Sunday party requirements: McGee’s must provide at least one trained bar tender from our staff & at least one trained server per 25 guests for “sit down dinners” or per 50 guests for Hors D’Oeuvres parties at a minimum of $ 75 each while retaining the right to accept additional tips from guests.
* McGee’s Irish Pub does carry alcohol liability insurance, however, when anyone purchases alcohol for a guest, liability is also incurred on the part of the host.
